Your new job

Your new role as a business developer within the Local Planning Unit supports the unit's work and the administration's operations by identifying and analyzing local supply-related needs. You have a tactical role within the unit that largely relieves and assists local planners and the local planning manager regarding both physical planning issues and efficiency and improvement work, as well as quality assurance processes within the unit. This often involves structural investigations related to the unit's role as a support function for all operational directions and responsibilities of the education committees.

A business developer will represent and advocate for the education administration both internally and externally in the local supply process. Act as support to local planners in daily work by identifying, analyzing, proposing, and developing standardized processes where need images constantly change based on demographic development, suitability in local resources, and budgetary factors. Your daily contact points are often managers and other support and specialist functions within both the education administration and the municipality's various administrations.

The position is located in the Education Administration's Local Planning Unit. It is a small, competent unit that supports educational operations in physical planning issues. Everything from property-related questions or adaptations to the construction of new schools. You will be based at Huskvarna City Hall but will have the entire municipality as your workplace as you meet both operational representatives and colleagues from other administrations in your daily work.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree, preferably with a focus on political or social sciences, or you have acquired experiences and knowledge in other ways that we consider equivalent. The position requires that you have work experience, preferably with knowledge or experience within a politically governed organization.

You will work in many different groups and therefore have a good ability to establish and maintain good collaborative relationships. You are structured, communicative, and express yourself well in speech and writing.

To succeed in the role of business developer, you need to be attentive, analytical, and at the same time proactive. A well-developed problem-solving ability will facilitate your daily work. As a representative of the operation, you need to have the ability to collaborate and engage others. You see the big picture without losing sight of the details. A background in school leadership is an advantage. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.
